I was born in 1971 in Detroit, Michigan. I moved to Eugene, Oregon in 1990 where I lived for several years while earning a B.S. in Allied Arts and Architecture from the University of Oregon in 1995.
Being an experienced bicycle mechanic and tour leader, I was hired by Trek Bicycle Corporation as a Wrench Force technician. For two years I traveled throughout America attending bicycle tours and races to offer repairs and advice.
In 1997, Trek sent me to work on a tour named Cycle Montana. I was intrigued by Missoula and the Adventure Cycling Association and went to work there for eight years as a tour planner/leader.
I decided to try something new in 2005. Since then I have been pursuing a career in plumbing. I am currently a plumber's apprentice here in Missoula and am very much enjoying learning a whole new trade.
I have been making bicycle art for over 10 years. I am primarily focused on building lamps. But I do occasionally produce other functional objects, sculpture and custom requests.
